Teaching Assistant, Pacific Northwest College of Art {Portland, Oregon} January 2008-current
Develop lesson plans, lectures, and assignments. Initiate guest speakers and presentations. Mentor individual students in their creative processes and work. Courses taught: 2D Foundations, Spring Semester 2008; Digital Elements, Fall Semester 2008.

Artist in Residence, Jackson Middle School {Portland, Oregon} 2008
Designed a week long series of sensory learning based events and printed materials (handouts and posters) integrating art, science, language arts, writing, geography, and history based upon the cultivation of food and the settlement of the fertile crescent.

Project Manager/Designer, Uprooted Event {Portland, Oregon} 2008
Conceptualized and designed an event for 30 + people. Managed and organized a team of artists, chefs, and staff to serve, cook, prepare, and perform before and during the event.

Designer, StreetSense {Bethesda, Maryland} 2005-06
Designed brochures, logos, and identity solutions for public and private clients. Implemented schematic parameters for community master plans. Interacted with printers and other suppliers to determine specifications and requirements for collateral materials.

Designer and Studio Manager, Community Design Center, University of Cincinnati, Studio {Cincinnati, Ohio} 2003-05
Created brochures, presentations and publications, direct mail and maintained website. Designed and published a book of student research. Facilitated community charrettes to find solutions to neighborhood design issues. Implemented plans born of the community charrettes and research.

Participated in designing the Bronx River project to extend the Bronx River Bike Trail.

Created a sustainable development master plan addressing transportation issues, building codes, land use management, zoning, environmental concerns, and water/waste management.
